Last week we were in Ohio to visit family and friends. Here are some pictures from our trip. We seemed to be all over NE and central Ohio.
One of the days we took a walk in the Hocking Hills with my Parents. We were out looking for a place called "Airplane Rock." We "think" we found it. The trail was not very well marked. The place we ended up at did have some nice views. Most of the leaves were past peak color but none the less we enjoyed a little day trip to the Hocking Hills. I will have to say there are certainly more trees that change color in Ohio than in Idaho. Below are pictures from "Airplane Rock", we think.
Julie was telling me to take one more step back.

Mom and Julie enjoying the view.

We also went to Chestnut Ridge park for a hike with Julia, Mitchell, Zoey, and Ruby. The kids did good on the 2+ mile hike. This deck is the overlook where I asked Julie to marry me. This park will always be special to us.

We celebrated my birthday a little early at Julie's parent's house. We had ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. I reminded me of the office birthday celebrations at my old firm in Ohio.

We also headed up to the Ashtabula area and stopped at one winery in the Lake County area. This was about the only time it was not raining that day.

We did spend some time visiting old friends in Columbus. We went to the wedding of one of my old co-workers. Also, we had a night old with some old friends from OU. We did not take any pics of these two events.
