I had told many of you that I dreamed of being able to ski by Thanksgiving. I don't know if that will happen. However, it rained off and on all day today and there was not much in the way of visibility. (I guess I should explain. If the day is clear, I can see a mountain out my office window. I have no idea how far away it is yet. Today for most of the day I could not see it.) The great news is that when I was driving home I could see that it had been snowing around Bogus Basin today. Bogus Basin is the local ski mountain and is about 16 miles from downtown Boise.
Elevation of Boise 2,704
Elevation of Bogus Basin Lodge 5,800
Elevation of Bogus Basin Summit 7,582
That's what is great about Boise. Let it Snow! One more day closer to being able to ski.
