The Ford's in Boise

My parents arrived in Boise last weekend. This was at the end of their big western vacation. If you remember the posts of last month, we met up with them in Moab at the front end of the trip.

They arrived in Boise on a Thursday night. My Dad and I played golf on Friday morning. While we were playing Julie and Mom went for a bike ride on the Green Belt. The Green Belt runs along the course we were playing, so they watched us play for little bit.

We woke up to rain on Saturday. This was the first rain in Boise in about 50+ days. We had planned on a little driving tour but it was an ugly morning. Things had cleared up a little by noon. We then drove to the area down by the Snake River. Here are some pictures of that area. This is Mom and I on the banks of the Snake. I must also state that this is in the area of the Swan Attack back in March. We did not see the now famous swan.
Here is Julie at the Snake River over look. You should take notice of Julie's shirt. I bet that is something most of you thought you would never see. Go Bucks!
After the Snake River, we went wine tasting again. We went to two wineries. One of them was a repeat from the prior week. Julie and I were recognized by on of the women working there. It rained some more that afternoon and evening.

On Sunday we went to church and went for a good bike ride, however it was a little cold.

The weekend was a lot of fun. It was great to see my parents. Below is picture of the three of us before they left on Monday.
