The first thing we did when we arrived in McCall was do some mountain biking at Bear Basin. You can see some of the wild flowers in that area in the picture above. Julie and I went cross country skiing in this same meadow last winter.
We did some hiking on our second day. The picture above is Louie Lake and Julie is relaxing at Boulder Lake. We did about 7 miles of hiking this day. After our hike, we went back to our rental house to swim and sit in the hot tub.
When we were on our way home, we stopped at Tamarack Ski Resort. This is a new resort that has fallen on hard times. It is in bankruptcy and has not been in operation for at least a year. It is a shame because it would be a very nice resort if it was completely finished and in operation for skiing. I cannot believe how long my legs look in this picture.
