Here are some more pictures from our little excursion on Sunday. These are definitely things you would never see in Ohio. Shortly after coming across the "Open Range" sign we saw two random cows crossing the road. On the Idaho drivers license written test that we had to take there was even a question about open ranges.
Apparently people come out to these open ranges for target practice.
I'm not exactly sure what the structure below is, but am thinking that a shepherd lives here. We came across a couple of these and each one was surrounded by alot of sheep (the sheep didn't show up in this picture, they were just over a little plateau). I didn't want to get too close for the picture. We saw a dog underneath it and smoke was coming from the pipe sticking out the top.
