An "Ohhh!" moment
We ventured into Oregon today to hike around a place called Anthony Lake. More on that in another post. On our way back we noticed a large Ore Ida manufacturing plant just off the interstate. It was only then that it donned on us that Ore Ida stands for Oregon and Idaho. Ohhh! The plant is in Ontario, OR which is almost on the state line (only about 40 miles or so from Boise). We later found out that Tater Tots originated in Ontario in 1953. There is your piece of trivia for the day.
