Laying Low

This post is for everyone who thinks that all Julie and I are doing out here in Idaho is playing.

We did nothing big and exciting this weekend. There were two main reasons for this. First, Julie came down with what appears to have been some type of flu on Thursday night. She spent all day Friday on the couch. This is a big deal because Julie has not taken a sick day since I have known her. I am keeping my fingers crossed since as of yet I am in the clear. Second, the weather out here is not very good today. There is a lot of wind and rain. The forecasters say that we should get some snow tonight. Speaking of weather, I was getting my hair cut yesterday and the woman doing the job said that this is the coldest winter she can remember for Boise. She was not complaining but some of her customers have been. I told her that I thought the winter has been pretty nice.

Lastly, I wanted to give everyone an update on our housing situation. We made an offer on a house this week. This is a house that Julie and I both really like. I am not sure that we will get it, but we will see.
