We went skiing today. This time the sky was clear. We were able to see all around the mountain today. The views were just great. The only problem was that it was cold and windy up there. As you can see from this picture of Julie (at least I think it is her) coming out of the lodge.
Julie saw a read out from a weather station in the lodge at about 1:30. The temp was 18 with steady winds of 20-40 mph. Julie did not ski the whole time. I don't blame her.
I do have a cute story about today. On my last chair ride up today, I had a boy of about 8 or 9 riding up with me. First thing he told me is that I have really cool skis. Then he goes on to tell me about his favorite ski runs and how this one run is so cool because it has a lot of jumps on it. He loves to get air. Also, on his next run he was going to try do a trick of crossing his skis when he jumps. But, he was scared of biffing (slang for falling down). He just made me smile.
