Yardwork!

Mike and I are both really enjoying our new house. Here is a picture taken from the park across the street. If you click on the picture to enlarge it you can see Bogus Basin in the background (where we ski). We really haven't had to do any work on the inside of the house, but the previous owners left plenty of yardwork.

When you have a new house it seems as though you can make a trip to Home Depot every week. On Sunday we had to pick up a trash can. We were very surprised to see 4-5 people take their dogs inside. A couple of the dogs were even inside the carts. It reminded us of the time we flew into Albuquerque. At the baggage claim many of the people picking up passengers had their dogs with them. Also around here you see quite a few dogs riding in the backs of pickup trucks. At the gym we even saw a dog sleeping in the grass next to his owner's bike. It seems to be more dog friendly here.
