Well, we left Boise last Tuesday. We chose to take the city bus to the airport. This gives us our first story of the trip. There had not been a significant rain in Boise for about a month at that time. So what did it do when we were waiting for the bus? It rained very hard. Once we were on the bus, our driver told us that he had to go use the restroom. He then stopped the bus at his home and left the bus running and went to use the restroom. I can't see that happening in Columbus. Below is a picture of a dog that hopped on the bus to escape the rain during the restroom break.

Wednesday, we drove to Julie's parents house in Cortland, Ohio. Once there we went to a place called Wagon Trails. This is a big petting zoo where you ride a wagon and feed cows, elk, deer, bison, camels and other animals. Here is picture of us feeding a cow. Nice tongue. Insert your own joke as needed.

On Thursday we continued our trip of being tourists in our old back yard. We went to Pittsburgh with Julie's parents. We took a boat tour through downtown.

We also rode the incline. Here is photo at the top of Mount Washington.

Friday, we drove back to Columbus. We stopped by my old office and did a happy hour with Julie's old co-workers. Also, we went to dinner with a big group of my Delta Sig friends at Bag of Nails in Westerville. I requested that we go there. Boise has no place that can touch the fish 'n Chips at Bag of Nails.
The next post will be the wedding of my cousin Mark. This one is not be missed. There will be video.
